Find & download files
Search the library, understand preview access and download approved assets.
Reviewed 16 October 2026. Available controls depend on your role, plan and service configuration.
Find the right file
Open the brand and choose Asset library. Search by filename, select a category and narrow by the available type/subcategory. Typography can include files filed under Fonts. Clear all filters if a file seems missing. A chapter’s file list is limited to that chapter; the full library searches across the brand.
Preview and download
Use an asset card’s Download action. PNG/JPEG/WebP can display thumbnails; SVG, font, video, PDF and other accepted files may show a format label instead. Restricted downloads require your signed-in account and access to the brand. Public-link downloads require a currently active shared link. Approved files are available to viewers; unpublished contributions are restricted.
When an asset is missing
Confirm the brand, spelling and filters. Ask the owner whether an editor upload is still pending or was rejected, moved to a different category or removed. A revoked invitation or changed role can affect access. Refresh after approval or use the latest shared link. Access to one brand never gives access to another brand’s files.
Downloads and external use
If a download fails, check the browser’s download permissions, your connection and session, then retry once. Downloads do not grant additional intellectual-property rights. Use the file according to the brand’s guidance and its licence. Files someone already downloaded cannot be recalled when portal access is removed.
Back up before removing
Download originals you need before deleting assets or cancelling. There is no documented bulk ZIP export, recycle bin or user-facing restore/version-history control. Removing a file is a deletion action, not an archive. Refer to Deletion & cancellation before proceeding.
