Brand guidelines & chapters
Document every part of your brand, add introduction images and save changes correctly.
Reviewed 16 October 2026. Available controls depend on your role, plan and service configuration.
What belongs in each chapter
Strategy: positioning, audience, purpose, voice and messaging. Logo & identity: approved marks, spacing and usage. Typography: font families, sizes, weights and licences. Color palette: primary, secondary and tertiary colours and combinations. Elements in use: patterns and supporting design elements. Templates: reusable documents and layouts. Illustrations: approved artwork and style guidance. Motion: animation and video guidance. Iconography: icon families, sizes and usage. Applications: examples across print, digital, packaging and other touchpoints.
Edit and save a chapter
Open the brand, select a chapter and choose Edit chapter if your role permits. Enter plain-text guidance, up to 20,000 characters, then Save chapter. HTML and embedded scripts are not a supported content format. Save before switching sections; do not rely on automatic saving. Owner or manager edits publish directly when the subscription permits editing; editor contributions are submitted as drafts.
Add an introduction image
Choose Add introduction image or Change introduction image in the chapter, select an approved PNG, JPG/JPEG or WebP from that brand, or upload a new image up to 25 MB. Select Save introduction image. Editor uploads must be approved before selection, and editor image changes may require a further review. Remove image clears the chapter reference and keeps the asset in the library.
Drafts, approval and conflicts
Viewers continue to see published guidance while an editor’s draft awaits review. If the portal reports another draft or a changed revision, preserve your proposed text, reload and compare it with the current version before resubmitting. Do not repeatedly overwrite another person’s work. Asset cards have Approve/Reject controls; chapter-draft review controls are not exposed in the current portal screen. Ask the owner or support to coordinate publication rather than assuming a pending chapter will publish automatically.
Write guidance people can apply
Explain when to use each asset, include correct examples and common mistakes, and specify the relevant colours and typography. Use Logos & colours for interactive visual standards and Fonts, templates & motion for file guidance. A feature shown in the sample demo may not be a live editing feature. AI document import and automatic conversion of a PDF into portal chapters are not currently provided.
