Getting started
Create your account, prepare your brand and make your first portal useful.
Reviewed 16 October 2026. Available controls depend on your role, plan and service configuration.
Choose the right starting point
Brandguide IO brings brand guidelines, files and collaborators together. A workspace is your account area; each brand has its own portal, chapters and asset library. Visit Pricing to compare plans or use Request a demo on the Contact page. A private demo invitation is limited access, not a paid subscription.
Create and verify your account
Start your free trial today, no credit card required. Choose Start free trial, enter your name, brand or studio name, email and password, then select your plan and preferred billing period. Complete the security check when shown. New passwords must be 15–128 characters and cannot use obvious weak patterns. Verify your email with your signup password to start your 14-day trial, then log in. No payment is required. Check spam or request another verification email if needed.
Check your workspace
After logging in, use Overview for brand, asset and storage usage; Workspaces to open or create brands; Team access for invitations; Notifications for activity and reminders; Plan & billing for subscriptions; and Security for account protection. Minimize menu collapses the sidebar; use its labelled icons to expand it again. Help links to Resources and Contact.
Prepare a useful first brand
Create your brand with a name between 2 and 70 characters. Add a feature image to the workspace card, write the brand strategy, upload current logos, define colours and document typography. Add templates and examples only after the essentials are clear. Keep original source files and licence records outside the portal too.
Before inviting others
Check the approved files, chapter text, introduction images and sharing settings. Ask a teammate to confirm they can find and download the correct assets with their intended role. Save every edit before leaving a page. Features depend on the owner’s plan, role and enabled account features; demo examples do not prove that every control is available in your account.
