1. About these terms
Brandguide IO is operated by Cchora Studio LTD, KMA Centre, 5th Floor, Mara Road, Upperhill, Nairobi, Kenya. These terms cover the website, accounts, brand portals and paid subscriptions. Contact hey@cchora.com or use our contact form.
By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you accept these terms and the Return & Refund Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing. If you act for a business or client, you must have authority to accept these terms and manage its content. You must be at least 18 to purchase a subscription.
2. Accounts and access
Provide accurate account details, verify your email and protect your password and recovery codes. You are responsible for people you invite and the permissions you grant. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Paid signup requires a confirmed payment and email verification before workspace access. Private demo access, where explicitly granted, is separate from a paid subscription and does not start recurring charges.
3. Plans, prices and recurring payments
Starter, Studio and Agency plans have different workspace, storage, member and feature limits. Review the current pricing page, selected plan, currency and billing period before confirming checkout. Only payment methods shown as available can be used. The amount and currency shown at checkout are the amounts you authorise; your bank or provider may apply its own conversion or charges.
New accounts can start a 14-day trial after email verification, with no credit card required. Trial expiry does not trigger a charge. Editing and uploads are restricted after expiry until payment is confirmed; login, billing and existing downloads remain available. When you choose to subscribe, payment starts at checkout, even if trial days remain. Monthly subscriptions then renew monthly; annual subscriptions charge the full annual amount and renew annually. The “2 months free” annual discount means the annual price equals ten monthly payments and is separate from the 14-day trial. Paid subscriptions renew until cancellation is confirmed by the payment provider.
We do not add a separate tax amount in the current checkout. Payment receipts record the payment received and are not KRA eTIMS tax invoices. Review any future disclosed price or tax changes before accepting them; mandatory tax obligations are not waived by these terms.
We verify payments with the provider before granting paid access. A failed or reversed payment may limit editing and uploads once there is no valid paid period. Contact support about disputed or duplicate charges. Plan, billing-cycle and provider changes are currently support-assisted; requesting a change does not itself alter your subscription or create a refund.
4. Cancellation and account deletion
Use Billing & Payments → Cancel subscription to stop future renewals. Cancellation takes effect when the provider confirms it; check the updated billing status. Submit cancellation before the next scheduled charge. If the provider cannot confirm, refresh the status and contact us rather than assuming renewal has stopped.
Normal cancellation keeps your account and files. Paid access continues until the paid-through date. After that, editing and uploads stop, while you can still sign in and download existing files subject to account security and permissions. Cancellation does not automatically refund an already paid period; see the refund policy.
Delete account and data is a separate action. It ends access immediately and permanently removes your profile and owned workspaces, guidelines and files after any required provider cancellation. Download your files before confirming deletion. Financial records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. If self-service deletion is unavailable, contact support.
5. Your content and permissions
You or your licensors retain ownership of uploaded files, brand guidelines and other customer content. You give us permission to store, process, display and deliver that content only as needed to provide the service, follow your sharing instructions, secure the platform and meet applicable obligations.
Upload only material you have permission to use and share. You control invitations, roles and public sharing; publishing a portal or sharing a public link may expose its published material to people outside your organisation. Keep your own copies of important source files. Do not upload malware or use the service to infringe rights, disclose others’ private information unlawfully, or interfere with the platform.
6. Optional AI guideline import
Where enabled for an eligible Agency workspace, importing a PDF or PowerPoint sends the selected document to OpenAI for processing only after your confirmation. Ensure you have permission to send the document to that provider, including any personal or confidential information it contains. You can instead enter guidelines manually.
AI output is a draft and can contain errors or omissions. Review the selected chapters and colours before applying them. Import does not extract original logo, font or media asset files. Read the AI processing notice before uploading.
7. Availability, changes and responsible use
We aim to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, provider failures or other interruptions can occur. No separate uptime service-level agreement is included unless agreed in writing. Report problems through our support contact, and keep backups of business-critical materials.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use or non-payment. Where practicable, we will explain the restriction and how to resolve it. Changes to published prices do not silently reprice an existing provider subscription. We will communicate material subscription changes before they apply and explain your cancellation options.
These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Separately commissioned branding or design work is governed by its own proposal or agreement.
8. Questions and disputes
Contact hey@cchora.com with your account email and a description of the issue. For billing questions include the payment date, amount and reference, but never full card details, passwords or security codes. We will review the issue and explain the next steps.
Kenyan law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing here prevents you from exercising statutory cancellation, refund or data-protection rights or approaching a competent authority or court. Save or print these terms and your checkout confirmation for your records.
